If you use a lot of gain or a distortion pedal on an amplifier, but don't play, you will soon have a lot of noise from your amplifier. Of course you don't want that. The Sentry Noise Gate ensures that you no longer have to hear this noise.
The multiband gate in the Sentry Noise Gate has been carefully tuned so that the effect only filters out the unwanted signal. Via the Hard gate mode you can cut your signal hard at the desired threshold. In addition to controlling the threshold, the Sentry Noise Gate also has controllers for Damp and Decay to make your gate even more dynamic.
The Sentry Noise Gate can not only be set on the pedal itself, but also via the TC Electronic TonePrint software. Here you can easily set the ideal settings for your Noise Gate wishes or use the TonePrint database with presets.
The Sentry Noise Gate is of course equipped with True Bypass, which means that the pedal itself does not add any noise to your signal on standby.
