The Klark Teknik 2A-KT is a classic tube compressor / leveling amplifier modeled after Teletronix's LA-2A. The compression of the 2A-KT has an optical attenuator without delay based on original electroluminescent technology. Equipped with a fast attack time of 10ms, a frequency range between 10hz-20khz, +/- 1db. Release time 50ms to 5 seconds can be set. the gain limit is 0 to 30db
The 2A-KT has built-in Midas input and output transformers, stereo link connections and a cool vintage-style vu meter for gain reduction and output. The amplifier selectably includes a 12AX7, 12BH7 and EL84 tube, giving you fantastic sound and all this is in a compact 2U rack format.
