Building on Lab Gruppen's touring reputation for sound quality and durability, the E Series brings extras to the installation market by adding compact size, operational efficiency and flexibility in output configuration,
At the heart of the E-series is Lab.Gruppen's IDEEA (IntelliDrive Energy Efficient Amplifier) technology. Based on a patented Class D variant output stage, IDEEA produces high power levels with low distortion at minimal mains power.
Lab.Gruppen's patented Rail Sensing Limiter (RSL ™), also exclusive to the E Series, significantly reduces signal clipping to ensure high quality audio output. RSL settings facilitate asymmetric loading of the channels to optimize performance and efficiency. The total available output power can be divided among the channels. This makes it possible to drive, for example, a small sub on one channel and a number of 70 V ceiling loudspeakers on the second channel.
Lab.Gruppen's IDEEA architecture ensures full Energy Star compliance by combining a net operating efficiency of over 80% with an auto shut-off function. After 20 minutes without an input signal, the amplifier automatically switches to standby mode - with a consumption of less than 1 W - and turns on again when an input signal returns. GPIO facilities enable third party systems to remotely control and monitor energy status via contact closure.
